Sound from turbos need help!

All,

I have been restoring my 1993 RX7 Auto:
This car was sitting in my co-works house for the past 5 yr and I know that I will need to put a lot of work into it.

All of the work has been done by RX7.com and how have a drone sound when I hit idle speeds from the engine bay. I have driven the car and all seem to be doing fine until I hit a idle speed.

Here are to video that shows me driving the car and one with it park and idel:

I want to know if I should replace the turbos or is this sound normal?

List of items left to finnish:
1. A/C
2. Conver to 5 speed
3. Up grade Intercooler
4. Recover both seats
5. Need new radio system
6. New paint

sounds like impeller is rubbing on the housing or maybe something bounced up in there. I would check the shaft play on the primary and secondary first and make sure there is no road debris in there. Shaft play is good indicator of turbos going.

Sounds like the airpump is going bad to me, that is the typical "moo" sound you will see people talk about here on the forum. It is common with aftermarket intakes. If you do some searching you will find the info you need.

Sounds like your pump is going bad as it really shouldnt be making that much of an audible noise with it plumbed back into the intake and it seemed to be doing it at random times at idle which is also strange.

Search the user name DaleClark, he did a writeup on how to delete the noise.
