That was not me who posted those older pics. I am surprised he claimed he owned it. My name is Joe Mirabile. Anyway, it got slaughtered back then. wow.

i don't know bro, but after what i read, is kind of shady. unless you can show proof and evidence to us you're the real owner of the car. maybe scan your RX7 title and photo of urself and upload it to this forum. i don't see any problem for you to do that to proof you're innocent and you're the guy that own this car.

You can see the picture of me at www.sportscarshots.com if you follow the directions I posted earlier in the thread. No one would know how to get to these magazine shots that I had to review for the magazine but me and the other feature cars. I can also post pics of the car at my house if that is of great importance to you. I know the guy who made those posts, as I said, I paid him to overlay my interior door panels. Test me how you wish haha.

Me I would like the car better if it was all flat black.

I am interested in constructive critics, because as I said earlier, I am hoping to take this car a long way in order to further rotary knowledge around the show scene and who knows maybe the country. Years ago when I was younger I got into RX-7s because Jay Laub brought out his crazy orange car. Without seeing that car and falling in love, initially when tweeter had it without the wide body in black, I may never have tried to learn what a rotary was. I can only hope some of these people at the shows have a better appreciation for what everyone on this forum community already knows, rotary engines are the ****. Currently I am working to get a 3 rotor project, hopefully, underway for next show season. As I said, all comments are welcome, but no one needs to apologize for anything in the previous thread, I am not going to try and fight anyone for not liking the car, I was just hoping to bring it to the rotary community for some feedback.
Thanks,
Joe
You met me? Who are you? The car had just rolled out of the shop after triming and moving trying to fit the kit in the above picture. Things like this are not that easy. The more I read from the previous posts, the more FD4Life was asking for trouble.

Got it, you still doing polishing, please im me at intenispmp as soon as possible or email me ur phone # at intenispmp@aol.com / Have some interesting polishing that needs doing. Thanks.
I met you at HIN A/C briefly. I had the silver 7 parked across from you. Personally your car isn't my cup of tea, but most show only cars aren't. Most body kits in general take away from the 7s body lines which were pretty much perfect from the factory, the widebody kit you've added to your car makes it look more like a rolling box then a 7. Granted the kit is producted by RE-A and is probably functional to some degree on a race track, I'm just not a fan of widebody kits on almost any car. This is just personal opinion, so take it how you may.
I'm guessing you have a lot of sponsors who have a big say in what you put on your car, but in my opinion simplicity is key. You're part of New image, who doesn't know what the word simple means. Lastly, I think the whole bare carbon fiber thing is getting warn out, your buddy with the red 3 series accents the CF instead of shoves it in your face. Anyway, congratulations on the trophy at HIN, and it was nice to meet you. I'm sure we'll meet again.

Hey Dan,
You seemed nice at the show. Sad that you feel it looks like a rolling box. I liked yours. Anyway, I have some sponsors, and yea, they need some face time. The guy with the carbon M3 has won best of show the last 4 NCCA shows, going for his 5th soon. I hope someday I can afford to candy my carbon, then paint it, but for now, or until it gets cracked somehow, I would rather spend that 10gs on starting the 3 rotor upgrade. As far as simplicity goes, I guess you have not read the NCCA rule book yet. They beg for the opposite of simplicity, mod everything in order to get points. Thats why the guys in the club along with the guys in the rival club emotion, win most of the awards. Simplicity does not pay off when it comes to the NCCA. I would support you if you started a show circuit based around simplicity.
I did not build the car to be a purist car. Someday I will own one hopefully bone stock with under 10k miles on it, but until I can afford both, extreme, and winning NCCA points are what I want to do with this car. Lastly, RE says most everything about this kit is functional, though I do not know how to prove that, save taking it to a wind tunnel.
See you around,
J

I have a question for the owner; Do you know how much money full carbon parts are? Please correct me on this, you said everything was done in carbon minus the doors which is fiberglass with a layer or 2 of carbon, correct? You gotta be super rich to have these parts done in full carbon. If they were done in full carbon, there should not have been any fitment issues. I say that to say this, because of the enormous amount of money spent on making the parts, the shop making the parts would've paid alot of attention to detail and you, you should've bitched about the slightest part out of alignment. You do know carbon fiber has been scarce for a while now, making it even more expensive. If they were done in full carbon, why did'nt you just go all the way and use 4x4 twill?
You know, I do know that Importfan makes this kit in carbon, along with the doors. Not full carbon of course. If this is where you got the kit from, just say so.

Why is that the guys that spend the most money/time/effort are always the ones that get bashed the most? And the guys that do basically nothing to their cars get the 'nice ride/clean ride' with no bashing whatsoever...
People are drinking too much Haterade.

...
well said, my friend. well said!
