Apart from the childish "Lambo" doors and the even more childish stickers, this car looks less bad than most body kit equipped RX-7s - probably because there is actually some cohesion to the overall body kit design. Most RX-7 body kits look tacked together and completely ignore the flow of the original car.

I really like. Is that some kind of a kit, or is it a one-of-a-kind creation? Either way, lots of time and money invested. Very nice.

^^ I agree with the comment about the lambos, but its more of a personal thing. They STILL look good on your car because everything else looks amazing. How did you manage to put 20's in the rear without them sitting inside the fender? Is the car at stock ride height or dropped? Just wondering because I'm getting 19's and I know how tight the fitment on those can be.

Wanted to know the same thing. Also, forgot to ask earlier, but how did you manage to get the roof in Carbon Fiber? Was it layed?

Everything is actually real carbon parts that were made using the the RE Amemiya fiberglass kit to make the molds. I have not rapped the roof (yet), the only non carbon part of the car, because everything else has cut the weight, and that would increase the weight. I am running the Tein Flex at this point, and the camber on the rear wheels is what keeps them from hitting the fender. The stock rear fenders have been cut out and thats why I can fit the 20/13s in the rear.

You mean to say that the entire unibody is not carbon fiber. I doubt your doors are CF either.

Yeah, like those 20" racing wheels.

The doors are in fact carbon fiber. The frame of the car is not, (sigh couldnt afford one of those...) The wheels could be lighter, but they were added for the show scene, and are 13 inches which helps the car take off fast.

Have you weighed the car now that you have all that on there? I'm curious to see how much weight you losted or maybe gained with all that.

The rear hatch was changed to carbon and fiberglass saving over 200lbs, the doors saved over 100lbs each, the fenders being removed and cut out altogether saved a lot as well, the car changing to a single set up, also saves a lot. We predict the car near 2300-2400 lbs now and is making around 450 hp without nitrous, and the intercooler sprayer, which we have not used during a dyno run.

The stock rear hatch and each stock door probably weigh about 75lbs a piece, chief. You are obviously full of **** and I hope you die.

Yeah, I can carry around my back hatch with no problem so it's not over 200lbs, like barban said about 75ish maybe 100lbs. I'd say 200-300lbs lose total through out the whole car.
