There's really no reason to because with the power fc or other ecu you can set the fans to come one whenever you want.

There's one being auctioned on ebay. It's been on for a few weeks now and no one has bidded on it so, you can most likely get it at the beginning auction price.

you just need someone with a datalogit and you can change what temps the fans come one at.

It would be a complete waste of money to purchase a separate fan controller when you haven't even tried using the PFC (which you already own)

sorry to jack your thread.

My car already has a SARD fan controller installed. But Im installing the Power FC soon. Should I remove the fan controller before installing the PFC , or just leave it as is?

thanks for your help.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I studied the stock fan control system the ECU has only one fan speed output it has control of. One is controlled by the AC, and one by the thermoswitch. So, the PowerFC should only have control of one fan speed. Also, you have to have the datalogit to change that setting.

The HKS fan controller gives you control of 2 fan speeds, which is how I like it. Turning on the AC bumps up the effective speed one level.

I'm running the HKS fan controller with my PowerFC - they work just fine together. The fan controller has been awesome - keeps temps right where they should be.

This fan control harness was suppose to be a recall item which allows the fan to stay running when the motor is shut down. This is to prevent excessive temps and possible engine fire. Not sure if this is what he's looking for or if he's wanting to control fan speed to accomodate upgrades.

i just hooked the relays up to a switch and monitor my coolant temps on my PFC commander and turn on when needed. it still turns on at the stock level as well, and with a/c
