Leaking coolant, help diagnosis

Well after some cruising on Saturday night when I turned the FD off in started leaking after a few minutes. A relatively small puddle that continued leaking in droplets but had stopped by the next day. I checked the AST in the morning and not much was missing. I didn't drive it until tonight because I wanted to see how it would act. So I turn the car on, and the "add coolant" noise goes on so I of course put a little more water in because I was running a 50/50 mix and its warm here now anyway. The "add coolant" noise goes off and I take it for a drive, only because I had ample coolant. My friend is behind me in case something happens. The car drives as normal, I have no problems and my car still pulls. However I never took it high in the RPMs of course.

So I get back to the garage and cool the car down for a minute and then turn it off. It didn't leak until I turned the car off but it was leaking a ton, I mean a ton. It was coming from underneath the engine right under what I think is the cross member. So it’s not from any radiator hoses and it only leaks when the car is off.

So my question is, can anyone give me any suggestions as too where the crazy *** leak is coming from. So tomorrow I can some leads as to what to look at when we jack it up.

Just start checking all the coolant hoses. I had a leak that only exposed itself when the hose heated up from the engine. When everything was cold, the hose didn't leak.

Or the hose going from the AST to the overflow tank.

There are about a million things that can cause his cooling scenario. He'll simply have to get underneath the car and check.
