Will seq hold 10psi untill redline?

I am non-seq but a friend of mine has a stock 7. At about 5500 rpms his boost starts to drop down to 9psi and by 7500 rpms it is at 7psi. I am not sure how normal this is with all stock parts, if it isn't then where are some places to look. He can hold full boost on the primary. Do you think that the Charge Relief Valve isn't holding tight?

It is normal for a stock FD to drop to 7 pounds around 7.5K. However, some people say their FD holds 10 pounds all the way.

yeah thats normal. Does it hold 10 psi if you were to go to non-seq. all the way to redline? My sig. says I do have non-seq. but as of right now , NO! But this weekend it will be done.

Yeah non-seq will pull to the red with some mods but then again I am sure seq would too. The top end is pretty much the same maybe a little more, a lot more midrange 4000-6000
