KG rails

I recently got a pair of KG fuel rails , and I bought a FPR and all the Earl's fittings to make it work ... my car is at the painters right now , so I didn't get a chance to measure for the SS lines ... does anyone have these same rails on their car , and if so , do you remember how long each line was ?? ... Feed line from firewall to primary rail , primary to secondary , secondary to FPR , and return to firewall from the FPR ?? I'm trying to get some lines cut while my car is at Paint , so it's a quick install when I get it back ... thanks in advance

I would not recomend cutting lines in advance there will be little changes from one setup to another. Are you saying you are going to have someone else cut and put the fittings on for you?

YES , I will have the lines Custom fabricated , then pressed onto the Earl's fittings prior to installation ... I know there are pre-fab kits that come pre-assembled , and there should be standard lengths for each line ?? ...

Check with Keith I'm sure he is willing to help you out. You might even consider ordering the lines from him. It might cost you a little more then making them yourself but it would save you any hassle.

I would call, I noticed sometimes he takes a few days to respond to emails (busy guy) but when I called anyone who answered the phone was more than willing to help me out, or go get the answer immediately.

I'll toss in a second suggestion to just order the pre-cut lines from Keith. I cut/fit my own and it was a pain in the ***, it would not be something I'd cut a customer a very good deal on having to do it for them, might end up just being cheaper/easier in the long run...

Good luck with it either way, wish I could help out more but I only have his secondary rail and my lines are routed a little funky, not sure it would be of any help even if I did take it all back apart to measure .

I have a friend who is giving me all the S/S lines I need to complete my Fuel System ... I am providing him with the -an fittings , and he is cutting and pressing the fittings to the lines for me ... I am trying to get some lengths , or a diagram for the FD KG Parts system , because I have the KG Parts primary and secondary rails already ...

ah gotcha, that's a good deal! I'm not sure I'd do SS fuel lines even for my best friends without charging something! lol.

Like I said, I would call, it was the best way I found to get in touch with Keith. That is probably going to be your best bet to getting some measurements quickly. Again I wish I could help more, but my setup is A) different, and B) already installed. GL though!

Dont PM me here.

call us 856-346-2778. Dont JUST ask for Keith and hang up if they dont put you on the phone with me... Sal, Gary, Steve... other people ARE able to help. I cant talk to every single person that calls. That is why other people are here. If your answer comes from someone else here... does it mean I didnt answer the question? Not IMO... maybe I am wrong though... I use Google often. I take the answers given to me, I dont need to personally speak to Sergey Brin or Larry Page... sorry for the rant, it is just frustrating when I get messages from people here telling me someone called 10 times today and didnt leave a message and would not ask me the question. Not saying you personally did this... but it happens EVERY day multiple times. Guess who the last people to get a call back are??

my email inbox has over 1200 unsorted messages right now from the past few weeks, all of which have been replied to. I try to get everything answered the same day I get the question. 80% of these question are on other people's products that they feel the need for some reason to ask ME??? Also, just FYI, for some reason recently all hotmail address bounce back. For the record, I got no recent email directly about your question so I dont think you contacted us. I have also not received any messages from anyone here at the shop, just checked the internal ticket system we use here and see nothing...

there is a write-up from a customer about installing http://kgparts.com/forums/tutorials.php

Another way to ask us directly if you dont want to call or email is a forum we have on the site for people to use asking questions... http://kgparts.com/forums/mazda/ why people dont use it, I have no clue, but am not going to waste my time trying to figure out the answer to that question. It is there to use, like it or not. OR you can ask a bunch of other people and complain that Keith did not get back to you...

Again, sorry for the rant. It was not directed at the original poster or anyone in particular. It was just a general frustration rant about coming across these threads all the time and never having a conversation with the OP of the "complaint" or question.

it's really not that hard to cut them yourself.

i say just buy several feet of braided hose and then do it when you have the car in front of you - that's how i did mine...

I never had any issues getting my questions answered same day by calling, may not have talked to Keith every time, but I certainly got good answers either way.

And cutting the lines is easy, getting the -an fitting on there is a bit of a pain though . I am just glad all of mine sealed properly so I don't have to do it again!
