I figured out why my cluster wasnt lighting so dont worry bout the advice but thanks in advance. My dash has been apart for 2 weeks waiting for my cluster to come from japan, ha so i didnt notice that i hadnt connected my rheostat to the harness stupid me anyways i will have pics in like 10 minutes of the cluster lit up.

or is it for show only and still crap like the original one?

no the coolant temp gauge and that goes for all the gauges, all seem to be very linearized compated to the stock cluster. and for those q's about oil pressure, im going to get an aftermarket oil psi gauge, prosport makes a gauge that not only matches my gauge cluster and has reasonable prices and good accuracy, but also supports pressures above 100 psi, which is a need since the stock cluster oil psi peak was 120 psi, and it pegs every time i start the car and the AWS is running it's little cycle.

if the water temp is accurate as you say..

that might be reason enough to buy the gauge cluster...

wont cost much more than a good elec. water temp gauge and u get a whole lot more
