I found this for sale on RHDjapan's website; they've got some really good stuff that you never see anywhere else, and sometimes they get good used parts for cheap too.
I couldnt wait to see what it looked like myself either! I took a light bulb out of the back and stuck a flashlight behind it in a dark room and it back lights up white! sweet
Can't do the video, but I will most definately do a comprehensive writeup that compiles all the info to install a 99+ cluster in your pre 99 rex with an easy to find tittle name and lots of pics during the process.
It's not, the cluster case itself is symetrical, so there would be no fitment issues, that goes for all of the gauge clusters out there for these cars.
first off, at 100kmph im almost dead nuts on 60 mph so its not that hard to really put 2 and 2 together for your speed (i think its a lil over 62 mph at 100 kmph actually) plus there arent any sweet gauge clusters out there for these cars in mph, and i screwed my stock one up and didnt mind shelling out the big bucks for a sweet **** gauge cluster that almost no one has in the states.

multiply km by 6 then drop the last digit....and its just the idea of having a rare part
i have the cluster from the 1997 RS-R coming to me, 30th anniversery tach with Mazdaspeed speedo
same one here:

Opinions will vary, but I think they're pretty nice. I also like the fact that you're probably one of only a handful of people in the world that have them, not to mention that there are only two, that I know of, in North America at all. I just wish they would've made the boost gauge with a higher limit and had a US version as well.

its really not that bright of ablue in person its about 5 shades darker, i was suprised in the pictures myself. Anyways i went to install it last night and everything works and it was really frickin sweet but.....no backlights damn! so im tryin to figure it out right now fuses and such, and got my manual out if its not that, should have pictures soon guys! I'm writtin up one hell of a write up too, lots o pics and stuff that people might have q's about. as a side note, my rex is a 93 and it had the interior with the black covering on it, and i stripped it ALL off painstakingly one weekend, and let me tell ya, the new cluster looks like candy behind the cowl hood now! but i digress, i will be done by monday for sure.
