Just got my BI-State Custom turbos
I'll be going into work later on today. I'll either call you or you can call me to discuss this. Smoking at first is normal with our as the coating is burning and hardening. It gos away with time. We'll talk about yours today though. We use an assembly lube and it makes the wheels pretty goopy. It takes some heat before the lube lets up and the wheels will turn freely.
Warranty paperwork, I'm sending off that BOV today or tommorow with your warranty.
Pictures would be great. With a leaking oil line it can sometimes drip down the housing causing it to look like the housing is leaking oil. hopefully you used new crush washers when tightening down the oil lines and coolant lines.
We'll take care of it if there is any question at all.

I took off the turbo inlet elbow today and was looking at the compressor wheel and it wasnt spinning at idle... I gave a little tug on the TB and the wheel started to spin, right when I let go of the tb the fan stopped spinning and poof, smoke out the exaust. Also, I felt the compressor wheel and it wiggled about a mm. Is this bad shaftplay???
The only time that i've seen a turbo not spin while the car was runng was when the oil feed line was clooged, i mean there was no oil going into the turbo at all but once i replaced the oil feed line it was spinning fine.
