all i am saying is if i bought a set of turbos and there were cracks in the manifold and in the housing when i was promised a set with no cracks i would send them back.

the fact that you all would send him a different set is commendable.

lets see the pics....

good luck on the dyno.

Im not....read his post...if he got a sub par set...which is what he thought he recieved...then they would be taking a dump on him. Ive had a few sets like that myself. I was simply telling him to return them if they are cracked and why. if they arent cracked then he is good to go...if they are, then he should get what he was promised...and not something else.

I just got off the phone with Greg. You're the only one that seems to have a problem. You're making it out as if he got a set of junk-yard turbos in which he didn't.

whatever....he came and posted that he had cracks in a set of turbos he got from you...which is not good news for anyone putting turbos on their car.

im not the only one that said to send them back...fd3boost also agreed with me and he is a very respectable member of this forum.

if i got a set that was cracked Id send them back...i commended you for being willing to send him a new set...that is the difference between your company and turbo city or performance techniques...you guys seem to actually warrantee your work where those other builders didnt when they sent me sets not built well.

try reading the whole thread resource....i get the impression in dealing with you that you dont read what people write. I flat out said that your willingness to warrantee all your work was commendable.

pretty much what I was trying to say, damn server wouldent let me post.

I'm honestly not worried by afew small cracks. If I notice somthing strange then I'll have it checked out.
Thats why there are things called warantee's if somthing comes up they are obligated to fix it.

I'll get a picture up around three.

I'm not getting into a pissing match with you. You came off sounding like you wanted to make it look worse than it already did. The tiny hairline crack that he's talking about is on the downpipe side. Not the manifold side. I appologize if I am sounding defensive but we work are asses off and make sure that everything is perfect be letting our turbos leave the building so when it sounds like someone is trying to say that we are sending out ****-poor work you can understand why I'm frustrated.

You're a doushe bag. You have no clue what the hell you're talking about. These two guys have more experience than you can imagine, and you're needlessly bashing an up and coming company. The welder/ fabricator is one of the most talented tradesmen i've ever met. and you--you're an idiot.

Dude - not that I'm trying to suggest how to run your biz, but by most accounts implying that a customer of yours is lying or stretching the truth is not the way to bring smiling faces. While it is possible that a dog hair or pube somehow got lodged on the turbos that looks like a "hair"line crack , there is no benefit for him to discredit you as it will only stress the relationship.

You had your marketing plan working (just as good as BNR, but cheaper) now even before you have following for your turbos you are giving future customers (me) the perception that I may not have solice giving you my hard earned cash.

The best way to handle this as your following is not established is to simple tell the customer -- "send them back, we'll take a look at them and compromise you for your troubles".

My most humble $.00002

I've already told him that we would exchange them, no questions asked. All I wanted is to see the pics he promised before he put them on his car. If he has any doubt at all he needs to send them back so we can make good on the situation.

A Pube? Common, what kinds weirdo shop you think we run

I seriously agree that a picture will solve whatever the problem is. If there is a crack, I know Resourse will replace the turbos (if asked to). He has a very solid, honest shop.

The customer said he isn't worried about the cracks. That should be the end of argument. If "I" get a sub-standard item from ANY company, I will show them why I am not happy, and ask for my money back. If I decide that the problem is not that big of a deal, that's up to me.

I think we can all agree that this topic is best discussed between the seller and buyer now... Everything else just turns to arguing.

There will be no picture of the crack. #1, I dont give a **** if there is a crack. my turbos are under a warantee. I had to drop my turbos off at Maz-max and did not have the opportunity to take a picture. I promise you there was a small crack inside the exaust port of one of the turbo housings.

personally, me, the customer, I dont care... I dont want this turning into a bitch dealwhere people bitch at eachother. I trust eric and I know he will replace the turbos should they fail, produce results that are not satisfactory. If, you think I was bs'ing the entire time about the cracks. I will be going up to the shop on monday to meet with the mechanic to discuss the quote for the installation of my engine; I will take a picture so I can calm this thread down.

I assure you there was a small crack, but I can assure you as well, I'm satisfied with what I see and I expect them to run as Eric RESOURCE promised me...

miller time.

I just want to make sure everyone knows that you got a great set of turbos. I know how one little thing can get blown way out of proportion on the forum. I don't want/nor deserve that. Anyways, good luck and have fun boosting away
