m2 bb twins, possible to just plug/play?

So...I've been reading a bunch of the M2/BNR threads, and most ppl are going for massive HP numbers. I'm really only looking for ~300-325 at the wheels (for now), and wonder if either the M2 or the BNR's can just be put in as a stock replacement (i.e. no tuning required, for the time being)?

I can't afford anything right now, but I'm doing the due diligence right now so that when I'm ready I can just pull the trigger.

TIA,

you can use them but you need injectors....tuning is a must....you can find someone there local with a datalogit and tune it yourself with their help.

dont go putting in anyone elses maps...or those that xs and sr sell...it doesnt work...you need to tune.

Im sure you could run like six lbs or something and limp around....that will work temporarily until you can get a few hundred bucks for two hours dyno time. do not get on it without tuning...you will get detonation.

the stock ecu is NOT setup for the power curves you will get on those sets...period

I've already got a PFC, and so that's one item that's already taken care of. The tuning I know I'd probably need eventually.

How big would I need to go injector-wise? What other additions/changes would I need immediately if I were to go with upgraded twins?

Also, what's the advantage/disadvantage of going non-sequential? I know that lots of folks do it, but I'm pretty happy with my sequential setup right now...maybe I just don't know what I'm missing out on.

you might want to get 1300cc secondaries. Non-sequential there is less restriction and you get a linear power band much like a single turbo. You can also get rid of a lot of vacuum hoses and the like for simplicity sake. However, there is a lot more lag if you choose to do so. If you need tuning, contact osdesigns, he is in San Jose and can tune your PFC

If you want plug and play...

99Spec RZ's are the answer.

I wont ever run my car non sequential again...lag lag lag. tis why i went m2 in the first place...i wanted improved throttle response.

you will need my mod list to run those twins...for the most part.
