JSpec TII Differential into 5spd FD?

Ok, i am about to pull the trigger picking up a Jspec S4 TII diff. Only has 45k miles on it. Before i do, i just wanted to confirm that it will bolt up into my stock 93 5spd FD differential case without any problems and i can use the stock axles and everything. Thanks

well i went ahead and grabed it from Japan2LA. Only 45k miles on it, complete diff assembly from Japan. Hopefully i can sell the case and ring/pinion after to recoup some of the cost. Hopefully all goes well with the install.

the whole unit? or the whole LSD unit itself. Correct me if im wrong, but i am going to swap the t2 clutch type LSD in place of where the stock FD torsen LSD is, using the stock FD Ring/Pinion and case/

Personally, and this is only my opinion, so don't shoot me. I would keep the stock axles in. I have contemplated on whether or not to upgrade everything, but when I think about it, if I upgrade the diff, axles, then what becomes the weak link then. I would rather break axles and replace them, than brake other, more expensive and labor intensive parts. Before anyone goes and say,"well axles aren't cheap", I agree, although you can get great used ones for little to nothing. Plus the shipping is cheaper compared to a tranny , and the down time is fairly minimal.

Just my .02

I agree with Indian i have 1.52 60 ft times on the stock axles and until they break i try to keep them from breaking! I have solid motor mounts solid trannie brace diff brace and 11.50 et street tires. Plus i pre load and even slip the clutch a little this at 7800 rpms makes it launch pretty good and its full street car.

Yea im gunna keep the stock axles for now. Id def rather change axles then go chromoloy and blow the diff case or something apart. Just gotta replace the clamps on the drivers side cv boot cause the night i blew the diff, one of the clamps came off the friggen boot and is now just hanging from the axle, lol.
