Ive been searching EVERYWHERE. auto to 5spd swap help!

Okay, so i went though all the FAQ's and searched auto to manual swap. Went on diff forums/sites and i cant find a DEFINITE list of what parts i need for this swap.

Please answer ever question:

Does my signature cover it all?

If not what im i missing?

If i have something extra that i dont need (in my siggy) wat is it?

How long does it take to do this swap?(me taking it slow) lets say if a MASTER ROTARY tech was a 100. i would be at a 10-15.

p.s. if you have any of these parts for sale DO NOT LIST THEM HERE: pm me or go to my other thread: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...Auto+to+manual

just a little info!

you don't need to do this swap. banzai racing came out with a new ecu harness that allows you to use the pfc ecu with the auto trans working to factory specs. so now you can tune just like the man trans cars. tune the car with this harness and and pfc add some 4.3 rear end gears and you will be happy.

don't know how specific you are but a shift boot and shifter and while your at it you should get some new shifter bushings.

I've done the auto to manual swap on my T2 years ago, and it was as simple as taking out the old auto box and replacing it with manual. You'll have to do the flywheel swap, pedle assembly, run the hydro line for the clutch, the drive shaft is different length, and the cross member support is different too.

Lets see: 5spd wire harness and maybe the dash ring harness.

I personally like the auto, but because of the power potential was low (plus I was getting bored with the car), I decided to do the swap. If the Banzai ECU came out during the time I was looking to do the swap...I would have kept the auto setup.

If you use the PFC you dont need a 5 speed harness. All you HAVE to do is jumper to terminals on one of the connectors and then wire in reverse lights if you want them.

You need
Pedals,
Trans
Either Manual Diff or Manual diff flange to put on your auto diff
Driveshaft
CLutch Master
Clutch Slave and 3 associated lines
Apexi Power FC, Contact Goodfella FD3s or Rotary Experiment Seven as they are offering great deals on them right now
Stock Shifter
Stock Shifter bushing
Shifter **** and Shifter Boot
Clutch and Flywheel.
You do not need a new cluster

Im pretty sure that covers it, Im pretty sure we spoke on the phone yesterday. If not, it is a very simple swap. Installing the pedals can cause a little back pain but other than that it is pretty straight forward.

Hopefully this link will work https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/so-how-many-people-have-done-auto-manual-swap-258966/

Im pretty sure all the info you need is in there to do the swap the way I did with the PFC.
