Great to see some real progress rynberg. The motor looks great. I too am also anxious to see that thing all done and finally working at its full potential. Good luck with everything left man.

I hope so...I'm anxious to get the car broken-in and get those things workin'.
Heh, nothing fancy, but the brand new rotor housings look nice, huh?

I didn't talk to Rick today but he was going to be dropping the motor in today and getting things going. Everything was essentially on the motor on Saturday, ready to go.
As you well know (
), the break-in period is going to be PAINFUL!
re-phrase that to "some decade" with Jim....he's too busy acquirig real estate in Seattle
rotary FD owners, meanwhile, enjoy our superlative NEGATIVE return investment...and that's before we fill up with $3/gallon 93 octane gas (let alone race fuel for some crazies) which is promptly slurped down at 11 mpg

Hey John, glad to hear you got your car back.

Rick got the motor in today and just about everything is hooked up. She should start tomorrow....

In a few weeks, I will be adding another "new" modification -- the daily driver mod. I'm picking up a 95 blue Honda Accord sedan for a daily.

I may also have "Ghetto Dave" tune the car (local guy to Bay Area).
I'll just have to see how the timing works out once the car is broken in. Rick will have the PFC setup with a SAFE map, so tuning should be more of a leaning out a bit/adjusting drivability exercise. I wanted to get a wideband setup going but that's just going to have to wait a while....at SOME point, you have to stop the wallet from hemoraghing.
I hear ya man....just picked up my Innovative wideband....it never ends
I also have BNR stage 3s, but used....Mr. David Garfinkle and Bryan are working together to "renovate" them for me (non sequential)
how is Rick determining what is "safe"? do you have a datalogit?

p.s. It looks like your going to beat me by about a week as mine should be done in the Monday or Tuesday timeframe.
