I hate to say this, but didn't you look at and trace where the hose went before you took it apart?
1. The vacuum hose that goes to the map sensor is not from the elbow.
2. Most people just cap off the other end of the hose, it's not a big deal.

I'm not positive, but I think the hose is for your AWS.

AWS, you don't need it and you got a good pipe. Welcome.

on a cold car the engine would rev up on idle for about 30 secs to help get temps up.

forget how high though...long time since I took that stuff out.

ryan_93rx7 : I have the same kit.....and the same problem. Actually not really a problem. I just left the hose on as if it's connected to the GReddy compression tube. I've read a few threads that state the hose will leak out oil...or spew an oil mist and dirty the area pretty bad. I installed my kit about 2 months ago and still haven't had any problems associated with oil leakage from the hose. Hopefully you wont either.

wierd cause, cause after reading all your guys responses i went ahead and put it on without connecting it to anything, but i did folow the hose and it felt like it went into the block somewhere. anyways now my engine doesnt idle right ,sounds like one or two of the spark plugs got fouled up or something, im so confused now....

Doing this shouldn't foul your plugs. Plug that hose and adjust your TPS screw.

Maybe you accidentally disconnected your MAP sensor. It's that small black box located on the driver side firewall.
