Intercooler hard-pipe

Does anyone know if RE Amemiya, HKS, or some other brand makes a stock intercooler HARD-pipe that duplicates the tight bend of the stock plastic-pipe that goes from the bottom of the intercooler to the Y-pipe outlet ?

After installing a Fluidyne radiator, the clearance between the crank-pulley and the VERY thick SR Motorsports SMIC is nil!

Yes, but do they DUPLICATE the sharp bend and depth.

In other words, is their bend radius just as short as the stock plastic one.

I would think they should be the same. like the "S" pipe that comes with the greddy hard pipe kit is a direct stock IC pipe replacement.. Will only make sense for the bend to be the same to fit the stock intercooler. Although it may stick out a bit more with rubber cuplers

I put a couple Samco hoses in there when I installed my Arc SMIC. They definately don't take anymore room than the stock piping. If I were to bet, I'd say they take even less room under there.

Here's a couple pics. Sorry they kinda suck...it's tough to get the camera to focus in there.

Natey,

who did you get your SAMCO intercooler hoses from, esp. the lower one near the crank-shaft/e-shaft pulley ?

TIA,
:-) neil
