VA injector cover screw stripped...what to do?

Trying to pull out the injectors to get them cleaned and after pulling everything apart, I found one screw was stripped. Anyone know how to get that damn thing out?

I'd also start with an impact screwdriver if it isn't too far gone. That's how it should have been removed in the first place to keep from stripping the screw.

Vicegrips for the win (this happened to me as well), just make sure you have them super tight.

What did you end up replacing the screw with?

Agreed. Just remember your dealing with aluminum and don't use a sledge. But it should pop them loose pretty easily.

I just went to the hardware store and bought another, the head was slightly different, but the threads were right.
