Right now....for $30k I'd go for a G35 coupe, an S2000, or an Z3 M Roadster. Or wait a while.

Sold my FD 2 months ago because I am tired of fixin the damm thing. Buying a 06 S2000 in 2-3 months. 240 horses not too bad. convertible, reliable as hell, 13 years newer car. Oh it can be had for $30K... I still miss my FD when I ever see one on the road but I will get over it once I get my S2000.

first of all i'd probably never sell the FD.. For what they're going for now, it just really doesnt make much sense. But id like to add one of the following to my garage.

-50's Jaguar XK 120

-60's Lotus Elan

-either the last year of the 4cyl or the first year of the V8 lotus Esprits.

-Honda S2000

-02+ ZO6 vette

I'll be the first to say: I don't know. (My FD's for sale too...)

Every damn car has some stupid thing about it. Anything reasonably priced and within reason, anyways. If the car is pretty it's slower and hard to upgrade, if its easy to upgrade it looks stupid inside and is too heavy, if its really great otherwise it's just plain ugly. BAH.

S2k, Elise, Miata LS1, I'm not sure yet....

Budget??? r2 7's listed for 42k in '95, more than a vette. Since '06 z06 lista at 65k the worls is open to a lot of cars. Lotus is cheap at <50k. Porsche Cayman, maybe; but as i have said elsewhere Mazdaspeed Motorsport has a lot of value in my future selections. The 4th gen mazdaspeed RX7 is where my hopes are.

Lotus Elise, Corvette Z06, or Subaru WRX STi, depending on your driving style and what you'll be using the car for.

Or for a project car: kit-car Cobra, a Miata for Spec racing, or an '02 MR2 (although it needs a lot more power and tires)

I sell my FD's every year and think I am going to get something different.....but every time I sell one, I buy another....going on to FD number for, RX7 number 7.....I just can't find anything else I like.

I debate between an MKIV, Skyline R33, Z06, EVO, Viper GTS, WRX (screw the STi), or possibly a S14.....I am currently selling my latest FD and once it is gone, I will more than likely end up in another one....I always want to try something different with them. I have had a T78 RX8, BNR stage 2 TT RX7, and currently a T61 RX7 as well as an S5 TII, S4 TII, and two GXL's.....definately prefer single turbo FD's and will go single with the next one as well.
