Idemitsu oil - What you think?

Hi guys
I am going to use Idemitsu 10W30 oil for rotary engine on my FD with stock Twins. Milage is 90k km(50k mile).
Who used this oil. Are you recommended this oil me?
And how much does it cost?

thanks.

P.S. I found this link: http://www.mazdatrix.com/q-supply.htm

The prices for that oil are insane! Just use some Castrol 20w50.

I think it's not worth the money.

Maybe not. But it's the only oil on the market formulated specifically for rotary engines.
Besides, oil is a relatively cheap item in the scheme of things regarding automotive maintenence even if it's as high priced as Idemitsu.

So you are recommended me Idemitsu 10W30 full syntetic oil regardless of this high price.

I have used it before with nothing bad to say except that it is hard to get/expensive. I now use mobile 1 10-30 because of its availability and see no difference between the two. The only way to really tell is a Used Oil Analysis. I keep meaning to do this but never seem to get to it. Used synthetics since 40000 and had 110000 still running perfect, until the car fought a tree and lost.

I've been using it for about two years now, both in the motor and premixing.

I get it through Ari over at www.RX7.com, his prices are cheaper than those in the link above.

Being that I don't put many miles on my FD at this point, I have no problem spending a little for premium rotary-specific oil. I've noticed with the premix there is absolutely no smoke or (added) smell to the exhaust.

This topic has been covered many times. If you search around theres a place online that sells it pretty cheap. I remember reading it in a thread on here. I do know its expensive but would still like to try the premix. I have used amsoils premix and it doesnt add smell but smokes for a few seconds on cold days starting up.

speaking of premixing - I have been adding 200ml (give or take a few 10ml) of Valvoline Racing 2 Stroke oil to about 30L of fuel... i don't have OMP stuff off its just extra precaution i take. And best bang for buck in my books is Castrol GTX oil... that with any GOOD quality 2 stroke oil (in small proportions so you don't start fouling **** up...) works good.

i would use idemitsu but at the regularity at which i change oil... not worth it...
