Angry I M So Lost Now.

Well i lived in toronto, i m feeling like every shop i go to rips me off hard cause this guy telling me this and this guy telling me that but my problem is still there. i spend to much. getting ****. White smoke is oil or coolant and blue smoke...etc i m confuse. you guy probably know that i screw my car hard from running over the side walk before. after all the part i bought to fix my car. IC RAD Air filter sway bar, rebuild the intake crap that i dont know what the hell is it and replace all the hose with silicone. my car puff out white smoke at startup and when idle. it puff alot more when cold startup. on hot day the car seem to puff less smoke. when reving the car it doesnt smoke and my car is starting to back fire alot "like bang". so one shop telling me is my o ring so i need to rebuild the engine, 1 other shop telling me it the turbo seal. both shop telling me it oil leaking but isn't the smoke surpose to be blue if it oil. i m so lose, yes i m a newb driving an single turbo FD. But i will never sell my car, i love the car so much ever since my child hood so plz save me.

First of all, learn how to type.

Second, it sounds like you have NO idea what you're doing and putting all your faith (and money) into a shop isn't always the smartest move. I would suggest you start by reading the newbie links at in the thread at the top of the forum. From what you describe it sounds like you have some serious issues, and if you don't want to learn to diagnose it yourself you should try to find a shop that specializes in rotary engines. I dont know of any around Toronto, but try the regional forums.

normally it's coolant. does your exhaust smell sweet, or no? if it doesn't, then it could be condensation in your exhaust evaporating. Does it keep on smoking after 5 or 10 minutes of idling/driving?

Simple diagnosis.

Start the car

pop the radiator cap

wait for the temps to climb high enough for the thermostat to open

once it opens if you see bubbles you will need a rebuild eventually but drive it until it won't start and just be thankful for the free water injection system LOL

If you don't see bubbles it's more likely that you are running rich. Replace your plugs and o2 sensor.

If you're not running rich your turbos seals are leaking some oil and it will smoke upon startup and on off while boosting. Replace the turbos with some nice low mileage ones that I have.

Good luck
