Holy crap! Please Help!

alright...after painting my car im putting everything back on. i start the car, it runs perfect, i go to turn on my headlights....the car shuts off. what is the deal with this...please help me out somebody. has this happened to any of you?

Sounds like you have a bad ground-out somewhere...grab the multi-meter and start tracin'

I would start by testing the charging system. It sounds like lights coming on is drawing to much current and killing the car. If it was a bad ground i would think you would blow a fuse before the car would just die.

nevermind...found the problem. it was the two main grounds that go behind the front bumper. i feel like a dumbass...but thanks to everybody who replied. but who would have thought that those little *** grounds make all those problems....Peace!!!
