I Have The Anti-det On My Car
what's the latest scoop on this KDR anti-det device? it seems that this thread fell off the earth. sorry to resurrect it, but it sounds interesting and if someone has this product they need to share it with the rotary community instead of just a few elite owning this device. or was this whole thing just BS?

Some have said KDR stopped requiring non-disclosure agreements... but still no explaination, unless I missed it.
Are they still planning on having certain shops around the country "authorized" to install it? Or will it be something that can be installed by reasonably competent individuals with the proper tools?

I talked to Skip about the chances of having this available for the SoCal people. His response was yes, and that it would be available in the very near future (end of January maybe). He also said that it could be installed by any competent Shadytree mechanic.
omg, i cant believe how long this thread is considering its only based on rumors and made up stories!!! more over, I cant believe people are already willing to shell out money on a device which puts seems to have made all logical reasoning such as the tuning of A/F ratio and timing obsolete and the ability to raise boost past 27psi on 87 octane gas safely and still make ginormous power possible!
same as senseny, so far so good. I trust kdr, they havent given me a reason not to trust them. Ive done a lot of business with them over the past 6 months and they always explain everything perfectly. Dave is a great guy, i dont think he would hurt his business by selling something that doesnt work.

You forgot about the duct tape and the martini!
Those combined with ur tools will make for one helluva installation
p.s. Is there anyone with the KDR Anti-Det that has done a before and after dyno run without the A-D running 93octane....and then with it running 87??? This would be very interesteing to see. Also, I think I'd have a hard time NOT running premium in the FD. There's just something about not running premium on turbo car that bothers me....it would be different if it were a piston engine who could withstand a little det, but on the FD once you hear it it's too late.
Name correction. . . . .

You just have to set the minimum and maximum lambas for the 5v output so it matches what the software is looking for.
The only widebands that work on the 634u are the Aultronics and the M&W, maybe the Motec? You need the adjustable outputs.
I am not a proponent to the DIYs and the FJOs.... That's a whole other thread.
I paid 1600 for the model A. Talk to Brain at BEK Tuning is SOuth Carolina. I can email you his contact info if you want it. He is an Autronics dealer.
