I am wondering about something
I have been noticing an annoying problem lately....my car just doesn't seem to want to be as fast as it should be. I just recently thought about what might be causing this, and came up with this idea...
Some of you know that I made the biggest mistake of my life and took my car to a dealership to have my engine replaced. Long story short, it took them 4 months and they still didn't have it done anywhere close to right. Anyway, I know they put in new spark plugs with the engine, but I am wondering if maybe they used the wrong plugs. I mean, they replaced some of my vacuum lines with old braided lines they had lying around, so I am thinking they just replaced them with whatever they had at the time.
My question is, what would the symptoms be if they used an inferior plug, how would I check to see what kind of plugs they used (does it say on the plug anywhere?), and given the mods below, what kind of plugs should I have?
Here are my mods:
Blitz intake
Pettit downpipe
3" cat back
(my list is so small )
Thanks,
Tyler

We can't help you if you don't have a boost gauge.....but the plugs are easy to check and replace from below.
Get a boost gauge, even a cheapo mechanical one will be good enough to at least do some diagnosing.

Do not waste you time guessing about what the dealer did . Get new plugs and put them in or find someone you that you trust to help you put them in and check out any other problems . Then turn up the radio and ride .

To install that gauge,
I just have to hook a vacuum line to the blocked off outlet on the UIM, run it along the firewall to the driver's side, put it through the little hole there, run it up and mount it to the A-pillar using the single pod I got, too - right?

For a mechanical gauge, that's about it. You will also want to hook up the lighting for it. Use the wiring for the ashtray or headlight retractor switch.
The plugs should be BUR7EQP for leading and BUR9EQP for trailing. NGK plugs are fine.

Ok Tyler, sorry for shouting I was just mad.
how does a dealer take 4 months to install an engine? Dont take your car to a dealer for anything. Do the spark plug change, install the cheapo mechanical boost gauge and go home happy.
