I think mine are 2.5" and the seem to have noticeably raised the engine.

I am wondering if this is a common size for mounts. I have been to various websites but nobody mentions what dimensions they use for their aftermarket engine mounts.

My engine is sitting about 3/16" higher than it did/should. But I blame the pan brace, not my Noltecs. I messed up and didn't mill the steel arms down. I'd do it now but don't want to disturb the seal on my otherwise DRY oil pan.

Yes, it raised my engine enough that adjustments to the exhaust needed to be made so that the dp/mp had adequate clearance from the firewall.

The IRP mounts are 1 and 7/8th for those running the oil pan brace...... if yours are really 2.5 inches high, that is definitely too tall.

Uh oh. I wonder how high mine will be with the noltecs and the xcessive oil pan. 1/4 inch? Think it will affect anything?

If they are 2.5", they are way too tall. I think someone sent you the wrong parts. Those would most certainly cause clearance problems if you have a strut bar.

If you have two steel MM arms, mill them down to compensate for the extra thickness of your pan. Should be plenty of material.

I may just scrap them and go with a poly option (in the correct size), as mine are derlin. Maybe these are for a FC? do they use a taller mount?

They are. I double checked. Do your 1-7/8 mounts work without a brace? I don't have a brace.

Yea, I have an R2 car and have other clearance problems since installing these mounts... have not even tried to put the brace in yet.

The stock mounts are just about 2". Our poly mounts are the same as stock when uncompressed. FD3s Poly Motor Mounts
