Does Anyone Know Where I Can Get A New Main Wiring Harness?

I think i heard mazda doesnt sell them anymore. My Harness is hacked up and would like to start fresh with my build going on and everything. I saw somewhere someone was trying to make a military spec wiring harness... did that ever finish?

quality of rywire stuff is better than OEM. It doesn't get better than these materials and the construction of the harness is top notch!! i'll post some pics up this afternoon!

Hah, have fun with the RHD. I contacted rywire quite early in the year when it was first announced that they were making FD harnesses. I was told to watch the site and call back when they are listed on there, despite my concerns that I needed one that was different from what they were making. Fast forward a few months to the middle of summer when they are available... I called rywire again to purchase one only to find out that their harness is LHD specific (RHD ECU is mounted on the other side of the car) and that I would require a custom harness...

I'm not too concerned.

Ryan is a personal friend of mine, I saw him over the summer and we've been chatting back and forth since then about getting the harness mirrored for RHD.

We've also been chatting (very lightly and I'm not going to be putting words in his mouth or making promises on his behalf) about the potential for a harness to convert the series 6 3-channel ABS to 4 channel ABS. But that's much further off and not certain to be an easily feasable thing.

Does rywire make a main wiring harness? I only saw the engine harness on the website. Thanks for the replies.

what do you mean by main wiring harness? so you mean the cabin harness? or the one that wraps all the way around the front end of the car and has the fan relays on it?

As far as I'm aware Rywire does not currently make a cabin harness.

However I'm sure you could locate one through the classifieds on this board. The interior harness isn't subject to the harsh conditions that the engine harness is.

You could always just pick up the engine harness seprately.

Do they customize these harnesses so I can perhaps have the fast acting IAT plug or aftermarket injector clips? (Rywire I mean)

Anyone want to donate me a RHD harness so I can look it over and create a loom? I promise I will not damage the RHD harness in any way.
