quick one:
how to take the rev counter out? and then strip it down?
need to strip it down as the face is falling down...gotta glue it back or something...

rev counter as in tach i'm assuming... pop off the steering column cover top and bottom. remove the center console and the A/C panel to expose the side of the guage hood. unscrew the screws holding in the hood and lift it up and over the steering wheel (you will have to unplug a few connectors from the back of it). All of the gauges are on the underside of the circuit board. i've never tried to disassemble the actual cluster but i know it can be done from this point. good luck lemme know how it goes

btw:
if someone wants to get to the actual counter:
undo the 4 screws:

then two screws on the plastic cover and unclip these 6 clips:

jobs done

Sickboy, you'd have better luck getting at the tach if you removed the black plastic piece instead of the bezel.
In this picture I circled the screws that hold the tach in place. Undo those screws and remove that black plastic piece on the front and the whole tach will lift right out.
