35 years old. Degree in aerospace engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach. After graduating in 2000 worked for Cessna Aircraft in propulsion division on the Citation X corporate jet. Later worked for Piper Aircaft in Vero Beach. Now a project manager for a consulting firm. Got my first RX7(93' FD) in December '06. Love working on this car. Thank's to those who put this website out there for us. What a great source of info.

I'm 43, live in Canada. I have had my FD since February. I have spent 300 $ on it so far. I am a teacher and I have a doctorate in Architecture as well.
I have wanted this car since 1995, when I saw it for the first time.
I am a patient guy, as you can see...

I engineer conveyor systems. Everything from fabrication to maintenance and initial installation. Everywhere from the Breweries in Portland, Oregon (On the Bottle Machines) to the Copper Mines down in Georgia.

Nuthin' to hide
I guess I'm one of the old farts. 49. I'm the CEO of my own electronics company. Started it up in 1997. Internet based. No major commercial electronics company, university, or govt agency that hasn't bought something from me at least once. I've sold electronic wires to everyone from CERN in Switzerland to NASA here in the US.
Education: Yeah I've got lots of educaton. Graduated with a 2 yr degree from a community college.
Last year was a big year for spending money on my FD. Got new AC and new clutch and transmission. Dropped about $6000.
BTW, everyone seems so open about their ages and occupation in this thread, but everytime I go to check on one of you in your profile, all I see is "Male, own an FD" or some such nonsense. What's the deal? I filled out a complete profile on myself. I've got nuthin to hide.

Mt driver
I’m 51, I traded my 91 ZR1
on a new 93 FD & still have it. except for the Tri-Point engine rebuild I spend between $500 to $3000 per year depending on the project area. I love working on the car just as much as driving it up the Mt. were I work.

20, 21 in a month, had my 1995 fd for about 7-8 months now (I actually bought it on 9/11/06, however long that is) and I'm an account manager for Cingular Wireless. I haven't spent too much on it yet, just fixed stuff that's broken, but that will change as soon as I am finished paying it off (already almost there!) I love my car, and I have wanted an FD since they were new. seriously. every video game I've ever played, I've built at least one nasty rx7. so, yeah, I love my car.
I am 25 and work as a programmer for microsoft in the windows networking division. yes...blame me when windows crashes...i'm used to it. I have had my fd for about a year and i dont even want to know how much ive spent on it (single turbo conversion).
