So Huge Ticket, Blown Tranny, Figured the bad luck ran out when a SC400 and IS300 blew buy me ... caught them in seconds and held it until I slid across 3 lanes around a bend... I GOT LUCKY never again, way to fast for the street ... and def to fast for turns... got there fairly quick with 100% stock car... had alot left

I know that stretch of highway very well. I was born and raised in Albany. Still miss the East Coast. Grass grows without the need for artificial irrigation!

Anyway, 140mph at Auto Club Speedway back when it was still called California Speedway.

165 on a country rd. ........ with the windows down, sunroof open, and headlights up????? lol

the right headlight cover blew off somewhere in the process. Never saw it. I can only imagine a cow on the side of the road never knew what hit him!!!! hahaha

Ive since done quite a few more mods, and would like to try again with everything buttoned up. i assume the windows, headlight, and sunroof add significant drag. .... i just wasnt thinking.

You slid across three lanes of highway at 155?

When the beltway toll road in Houston first opened up and hardly anyone was using it,
I hit 175mph with 320whp before catching up to traffic.

Haven't tried since and now have about 400 whp.

Eh, about 120mph racing a new Camaro SS. That was with stock twins & bolt-ons.

Not really big on top speed runs. I guess the fear of getting my car impounded & going to jail is too great these days. Not to mention being in service dress in front of my Commander... Not fun.

Hit 181mph indicated on my R1 back in the day.
