how to: brake pad replacement

Brake Job: how to change pads on all corners.
http://www.clubrx.org/default.asp?id...ntent=66&mnu=5

is this link not working for anyone else but me?
i took my brakes apart a while ago,and cant remember the correct procedures to put it back. fronts are fine. troubles on the rear.i need pictures.haha.i know i know.i dont have a FSM. any other links like these?
please help me.

main questions:

the left side of the front caliper went in fine, all smooth, nice!
the right side on the other hand,i got the pistons pushed back as far as they can go.i go to tighten the caliper and the inner pad bites so hard the rotor wont turn.i grinded down the back of the pad a bit,and its a little better. and the other side is a little loose,i will just shim that up. is this something that will work it self out?

onto the rear, where does that little wire clip go again?
picture?

anyway, thanks for whoever can help me,and thank you for reading this!
i have searched and searched and searched!

The pads should not be that tight. Something is wrong there. did you put two shims on one side and none on the other? sure you pushed all of the pistons back in far enough? Anything stuck behind the pads?

the clip goes into the holes in the bottom of the pads and faces down so its an upside down V.

Just use the FSM. It has everything you need to know to do the job.

if you go search and trype brake pads, then search titles only - u will have 33 threads about it...

if you too lazy this will help u out:

http://www.rx7city.com/93manual.htm

just download brakes section, everything is in there,

onto the rear, where does that little wire clip go again?
picture?

the clip goes into the holes in the bottom of the pads and faces down so its an upside down V.
its a spring mate helps to keep them pads apart:

check this one as well(its an fc but might give u some ideas):

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ds+replacement

as to ur pads rubbing the disc, r u sure that the pistons work ok? i had similar problem and 3 pistons were seazed and only one was working, had to rebuild my calipers(now im doing the whole braking system - again)

hope that helps
