I would recomend them with any aftermarket hood if you dont want to make a crap sandwinch when your doing 140.

how many hoods have actually flow off? i think with a good quality hood you should have nothing to worry about.

I don't have them and have a fiberglass hood, with the vents closed...you guys are worrying me. I've done 150+ many times.

I had Faspac CF hood.. at higher speed.. I saw that thing flap.. so, I put the pins.. Like some said, underhood pressure, if not let out fast enough, pop your hood off.

I have the Scoot hood and with out the rain guard, its fine at speed upto 140MPH.. I tried and my hood didn't move.. I was quite surprised.. but at the same time there are 6 huge vents.. I like the cleaner look..
