NY HKS Twin Power application question

I run a PFS purple box and a single turbo. I still have the factory ignition setup and the boost seems to scramble above 7500 rpms. I was told by the dyno guy that he think an HKS Twin power ignition system will help this problem. So I have 2 questions.

1. Can it help my problem?
2. I know it is pretty easy to install but wil i need to retune after the install?

If you are meaning break-up at this level of rpm then yes it will help. The twin power will create a cleaner spark so your tune will be leaned a bit w/ the enhanced efficiency/ power. I would check your AFR's again to make sure it is not on the edge of too lean w/ your present tune. They are worth the $$. G

the current tune i am running i think is pretty rich especiall after 6000 rpms, so maybe the HLS will help lean it out a bit

I have heard from a tuner that at higher boost levels the boost will blow out the spark which causes the hesitation and an ignition amplifier will solve that issue~~~
Cheers.

except the HKS twin rotary does not INCREASE spark. It messes with the dwell time.

that being said a lot of people like it and run it.

Yes it will give you a better spark.
It is always better to measure your AFRs after any mod.
Install is both hard and easy, depends on your experinece and confidence.

The HKS Twin Power is good and easy to use. Most objections come due to it's high price for what it does.

You can buy other ignition amps cheaper and they will also work, but they are more difficult to install. Some of them will also burn out your stock primary coil.
