Hey guys,

Im new to the forum as you can tell. I dont actually own an RX-7 yet but am looking into buying one and fixing it up. Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I am a current 350z owner and love both cars. so im sure ill be stopping buy some more just to gain some insight into this wonderful world of cars. And by the way a friend and i worked on a site that allows rx 7 owners, 350z ppl, 300zx tt, supras, etc. to post all on one forum. its all subdivided up into the different cars. it also has a place to put your meets etc so ppl can come check your amazing cars out. so feel free to come post over there. Its called D and A Hot Imports. right now its only on a free server but were trying to find a good web host to put it up so we can get it really goin but wanted to see how itd do b4 we drop the dime. Heh every dime i spend on something else is one less towards my z or buyin an rx 7. come check us out you guys. wed love to have you. D and A Hot Imports

heh id love to put em up if it was anything special right now but i just got it out of the body shop bc i got the wors luck in the world. hit 3 times in a week just after i got the car. so for now its a stock 350z touring with orange leather and navigation. next im gonna add some nismo side stripes and a hood stripe thats kinda different. im gonna add borla true dual exhaust with helix test pipes and a nismo cold air intake. then im doin wheels when i need new tires. maybe do pulleys but im not suree yet. ecu reflashed to the new 05 ecu. etc. so its stock for the next 25 days and counting. (repainted front end and i got 25 days left b4 i can mess with it)

nice yeah. i may go aps single turbo next year or something. im waiting bc one of my friends that im actually kinda partners with for his company is one of the first ppl getting the aps single turbo kit so ill see how that goes for him then decide if its right for me to go that direction.

so your getting an fd (rx-7) and putting single turbo on it or on the 350?

I dont know too much about the rx7 turbo kits but im big into the 350z world of aftermarket parts. so im gonna do that if i go F/I soon.

That VQ35de is an amazing engine. From what i hear it does really well with a little boost too. I hear about guys using the Greedy TT set up and still getting 400 at the wheels(with other mods too) I bet a single turbo set up will do even better.

yeah they are sick with a turbo set up. no one has beat this guy ernie in connecticut tho. hes runnin 25psi and hes puttin out about 650 to the rear wheels. guys car is insanely fast and hot looking. silver z roadster. but well see about the single turbo. its out in two weeks and my friend will put it on and well go from there i guess.

i was postin in here so maybe ppl can tell me about the 3rd gen rx 7 and to talk to ppl with 3rd gen rx7's bc thats what im lookin at. dont hate bro. im not the one that started about my z. ppl just asked me when i posted thats what i currently drive. you dont have to post just to flame bro. not necessary. i believe the posting to say something is lame is what is truly laaaaaaame.

i assume you werent talkin to me bc i love all cars that are tastefully done and show some creativity. and i decided to get a z for a lot of reasons. one of which is that it was much cheaper on my insurance bc i got side and curtain airbags. a feature not available on a car made in say 1995. so i went with the z for a lot of reasons. but im a car enthusiast so im here to talk about cars and to look into the rx 7 as a second car. i mean i appreciate all cars. this is not even my only car. i have my grandfathers old ss camaro from 1969 that im waiting to get shipped to me and an older (1995) mustang gt. so if your a true car lover youll appreciate all cars. thanks murphy. and hey if you like 300zx you should click on my link above to the site im workin on. its pretty comprehensive and has both the rx 7 as well as the 300zx. and you can check out my buddys 300zx thats gonna be runnin like 500 to the wheels. hell be doin like high 9's. come check us out man.

cool man. yeah were tryin to make our forum big bc its a different idea and allows you to look at all the different cars etc without havin to join a million forums. its brand new so not too many members. just opened yesterday basically. he and i worked hard on it. if you wanna check it out just click the link in my first post in this thread. were hopin itll be good. especially bc you rx-7 guys are way cooler than the supra guys. heh they got nasty attitudes.
