Pretty sure that goes to the oil pressure sender (big dirty cylinder located underneat the oil filter).

It does go to the oil pressure sensor.

you can solder the wires together permanently, shrink wrap over the solder and you'll be fine.

Yup.. When you start the car make sure that the little red light on the oil pressure gauge is not illuminated. It should be off when the car is running. Unless your low on oil..

Wait a sec.... isn't that wire the STARTER wire and not the ALTERNATOR wire???

Take a look at the starter, it will be obvious where it goes.

im pretty sure its from the alternator...there a lil connector that plugs into it right by the top, theres another connection for the starter farther down the harness

In the first pic you are right that is where the boost controller would hook up. In the second pic you can remove those pipes and there will be a block off plate for it in your kit( I should know i just did it too). That little thing in the third pic im pretty sure is for EGR and when you get your block off plate kit you can remove that too.

Have you looked at the FSM?

It goes to the starter.

Well... thats a very odd looking alternator wire boot ya got there then....

Looks exactly like the one that goes to the starter.

Where do you plan on plugging that small connector into? It doesn't have enough wire to reach the oil pressure sender.

And where are the other connectors on that "alternator" harness?

Show pics please.
