Help please all!

Hi all hope your all well!
could anyone tell me what sensor or connection is above the spark plugs. It leaks oil as it’s broken. Mines a RHD 92 fd. As you look it’s lower but near oil filler. Any help is always appreciated.

thanks
Jamie

A picture would help.
The knock sensors are immediately above the plugs. Above them and running horizontally is a major oil line. Rearward of the plugs, and just below the oil filter, is a major oil line that comes from the left oil cooler, and below that is the oil pressure sensor -- it is a black cylinder with a single wire running off of it.

It's probably his oil pressure sending unit if its below the oil filter.
A picture would help.

The oil filter pedestal (https://www.atkinsrotary.com/store/9...1-14-310A.html) has two o-rings (p/n 99541-01601) on its underside that may be susceptible to leaking. A photo would be helpful.

Yup, the 2 o-rings for the filter pedestal is a very likely possibility.

Thanks

Hi all thanks for input, it’s not the oil pressure sensor that’s closer to the rear of the block. This is directly above a spark plug at the front. I’ll get some pics once she’s back out of the garage.
kind regards
Jamie

That will probably be the goo leaking from the knock sensor. ALL FD's do this. It's just a nuisance.

The knock sensor is screwed directly into the rotor housing just above the spark plugs.

Most likely the oil pressure sender/sensor.
