help with non sequential mod and rats nest
I have an FD that I would like to do the non sequential mod and also get rid of the rats nest. I have yet to find a good tutorial on how to get this done.
Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have read the archives and cant fine any good guides.

That is a good write up but personally I would skip steps 3, 4, and 21-25. Those involve removing idle-related systems (cold idle system) and blocking off the injector atomization line which helps keep a leaner idle.

The coolant hoses on the TB I was told to remove it since i live in Florida and it really doesnt get that cold to need this.
Also all of the plugs that go to the sensors since I have A PFC should just be left there and wrapped in tape since they wont be used?

If it were me I would mark all of the unused sensor plugs with red tape (or similar method). Then, remove the engine engine harness from the car. Then, remove all of the unused sensor plugs from the harness. This will make your engine bay much cleaner and simplify reinstall in the future when you have to do a rebuild.

I am not sure when I plan on doing the mod since this is my Daily driver. I am probably going to round up some money to buy a pulley kit to get rid of the air pump and then do the sequential, rats nest mod.
In September I will have the car paid for and also have some cash to do basic mods to get around 350rwhp at around 15 psi on stock twins.
Not sure where to start though LOL

It's more work but less frustrating to pull the engine to do all that stuff.
If you've never pulled the turbo's off with the engine in the car you'll soon understand what I mean.
There are a number of color coded vac hose diagrams on here, including the non-sequential ones. Just blow them up and print out large copies of the sequential and non-sequential versions, compare them, and start removing what you don't need. It's also an ideal time to go through and do a vac hose replacement with some hose techniques silicon.
If you're getting rid of your air pump you can get some block off plates and I'd recommend an idler pulley to prevent slippage on the water pump pulley.

I need to reseal my oil pan since it has a small leak. This is my daily so I cant really pull the engine, but around January when I purchase another car I will be pulling it out and taking car of things that cant be done in the car.
Thanks for all the input
