HELP! MY FD is Bleeding

Ok guys, I need your help on this one. Some of you may know me as MontegoRX7. I got a new car, so new name. Anyways, I seem to have a coolant leak in my 1993 Base model. The car has 13 thousand miles on it. The leak seems to be comming from the driver side of the engine bay, near the radiator. I removed the battery box and here is what I found:

This piece seems like it is spraying coolant everywhere. There was coolant on the frame, that looked like someone shot it with a water gun. Does anyone know what this piece is, if it fails usually, and how hard it is to replace?

Here is a shot of where it is located:

If anyone knows what this part is, or if there is a common piece that fails around this area, please help me out. I would rather not tow the car to mazda.

Thanks

that is a part of the A/C system (dont know the name)
if you are looking for an antifreeze leak here I would guess the radiator has a pinhole in it or a crack in the tank.

btw lets see some pics of the rest of the car

I will post pics of the car, its not clean enough to dignify it, Had to drive it home from the body shop and there was still some snow on the roads. But I still cant find the leak. I took off the underbelly, and i have definatly isolated the leak the the area around the corner of the radiator, but I can not figure out where the F it is comming from. Looks like its a small leak because it sprayed up onto the bottom of the battery box. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW: Just put on my 99 Lip and Wing

A/c fluid is bright green. That is not a coolant leak, its A/C fluid. The green looks almost radioactive. trust me that is A/C.

Awsome, I thought it looked a little thick. It is really really green too. Now What should I look for. Do you think that solenoid is leaking?

Should this be something the dealer should deal with?
We have an RX7 tech, and I have talked with him. He is very knowledgable. Not you average mazda tech.

Ok, took it to the dealer and they said it was the high line or some ****. Gonna cost 420 to fix it, plus 180 for a recharge. Man I love mazda. It should be back tomorrow, and I can have it detailed by sunday so look for the pics.

great....

but those parts cost an arm and a leg. You might want to check out the local A/C repair shops. You'll find them in the yellow pages. anyway I'll donate blood for your car if she needs it.

HaHa, Let a local drop out of high school kid work on my FD? No way. Only 2 people will touch this car, me and the Rx-7 tech at Gateway Mazda, he is supposed to be one of the best 7 techs in the west. And he has a couple so I trust him. I wont even let my dad work on the car.

BTW, Thanks for the offer to donate blood, when she needs it, I will come to you.

Car should be done tomorrow cuz the threads on the pipe they got were bad. 99 Tails go on tomorrow night to.
