Help me choose first mods please!
K decided not to change my hoses until awhile due to my engine being brand new. Also not flushing the coolant because the engine is brand new. Thermostat must be new also since the engine is new.
So where do I start for reliabilty? Only mod I can think of is the Aluminum AST. What else should I get for my new 7? Should I put Redline Oil in the Gear & Diff. ?
Car already has:
Downpipe
Legal High Flo-Cat
Boost Gauge
Turbo Timer

It depends on how much money you're willing to spend.
Defiantly get an alum AST, Pettits is pretty good and they're in your neighborhood. I wouldn't worry about the vac hoses either, I doubt RP put any crispy ones back on. Read up on doing extra grounds. Then maybe a catback or intake.
I've used Redline, Neo, and now Royal Purple(in that order). Redline was really good, Neo was better then Redline in the beginning but didn't last near as long, RP is beating both of them by far, just need to see if it lasts as long. I'd recommend Redline or RP.

No - Hoses are not changed with a engine rebuild.
(Flush coolant and trans' every two years.)
No - Thermastat does not come with a rebuilt block but if you're lucky the water pump may have been changed.
Reliability - Replace radiator and all water hoses which include the two to the turbos. Add a water temp gauge. These are your priority because water/coolant is 75% of the engine cooling. You're engine "will" not survive even a brief overheating event. Oil being 25% so get a 2nd oil cooler.

i would change the fuel filter, air filter (stock?), plugs, AST, brake fluid & trans fluid... if u add downpipe then get a manual boost controller.
other things you can do is do the fan mod, miata thermostat, modify the stock airbox.
How much are you willing to spend??
