Anybody have 0-150mph acceleration times?
Hey guys (and gals), I'm looking for some 0-150 numbers of a ~2800lb car with ~300hp for something at work. I figure our cars are in the ballpark of this so I thought I'd pose this question to you guys.
I already suggested they just take my car out and time it
So, please give me any numbers you have along those lines (0-60,0-100,80-150, etc)
Also, I want actual recorded times. At least with a stopwatch or something vs. rough estimates.
I figure this will make for an interesting thread also.
Thanks,

I think Car and Driver has a lot of stats like this, check out some of their tests. A S/C s2000 would fit that mold as well and i know they've tested a couple of those recently in the compact car supertuner thingy.
Also car test can probably estimate that as well, they're usually pretty accurate.
I'd guess somewhere around 30-40 seconds for a 2800 lb car with 300bhp and decent drag coefficient and frontal area to run from 0 to 150. thats approaching top speed for a car like that (again depending on aerodynamics) so 125-150 might take as long as 0 to 125. Gearing has a lot to do with it to. 5th is so tall on the FD it would slow it down a lot for the last little bit
Goodfella has some 40-140 times (14 secs or soemthign like that), but his car is making way more than 300hp, not really relevant

Hmm, when my car was making about 320rwhp it would get to 113 in 12.3 second. Guess that doesnt help much though lol
Now it goes from 60-140 in about 10 second haha, according to some 0-60 calculators it should hit 60 in about 3 seconds so that would put a 0-140 time in about 13-14 seconds on drag radials. HOWEVER, now its making more like 400-420RWhp.
Anyway, not really the numbers your looking for but maybe you can use them for your comparison stuff
