Happen to anyone?

just got my car up and working and took it for a little drive...noticed it started to get hot, so i pulled over...my AST was making a suckin noise and was pouring coolant out the little neck hose and i lost a **** load of coolant...has this happen to anyone? the ONLY think i can think of is that my upper coolant hose i just put in was a TINY bit long and it one angle of it, its a litttle tight...would this cause it to become so backed up it fills the AST?

once you do that you need to open the AST air relive valve to let the air out while the motor is running.

Make sure you do not mix up the ast and coolant fill caps. Unless you have bought 2 caps with springs, then nevermind.

ok..actually another problem thats most likley causing this...my AST isnt connected to the overflow tank, that hose is just hanging down, and thats where coolant is pouring out...where does that hose connect into the OFT?

fill her up, squeez lower radiator hose while the AST relieve valve is open. start the car wait till she reach op. temp. and open the valve again. Sometime you have to repeat this step a couple of time tomake sure all the air is out. also do a search on burping the system. I seen some where about using the TB coolant hose to bleed the air out.
