I have my battery in my hatch and i have 3 ground wires off the negative there.

2 to the strut tower and 1 under the hatch carpet. Careful where you drill the hole for the ground point.

Also remember to scrap off the paint and make sure its bare metal.

I think I added an additional ground to the firewall, another to the alternator tensioner bracket, and also one to the transmission at the little service window. There are a couple writeups out there on the Internet on this topic as well, and one of them states that proper grounding of the ECU is the most important of all. I will have to revisit my setup and see if that has any effect on the dreaded 3k RPM hesitation.

Maybe someone can answer this for me? I was told component video cable would be great for ground wire. I know there is a lot of difference between wire. But, I do not know one from the other. Does anyone REALLY know if this is an acceptable wire to use for grounding?

I want to do the grounding this weekend. I have quite a bit of component video cable. If I can use it, I will. If it's not going to work, I have to go shopping.

Thanks

The question above has been answered. It is not recommended to use component video cable at all.
