gray smoke!!!!!!!

as most of you know if you have read my threads i bought my car and got a d.u.i trust me i learned my lesson. anyway they took the plate off the car so it has been setting for 2 yrs. it didnt smoke when i parked it and now when u start it it smokes. not real bad but it does smoke. it is in the shop getting tuned up but he hasnt got to it yet. does anyone no why it is smoking? cause of it setting to long? maybe something has dry rotted?

it hasnt leaked and i checked the oil and it was full. he is changing the oil and of course the old gas that is in it.

Did you atleast start it regularly during those 2 years? That is a VERY long time for any engine to sit without being started.

gas is bad

My car sat for about 1 year and had the same problem. It was the gas.

i thought it might be bad gas but i thought gas smoke was black? or am i wrong?

so do i need to drain the gas or just add something to it? it has about 1/4 of a tank in it

will a bad seal on the turbo make it smoke and how do you know if it has a bad seal
