Exclamation Glowing Turbo!!!!!

first off let me just say...thanks to all that helped me get my car back up and running (the car that wouldnt stay running.......havent fully fixed it yet).

But now i have a new problemb, once its running for a while the turbo heats up and glows red HOT . just wondering if anyone has any idea why its doing that...i may have an idea of how to fix it but i was just wondering if anyone knew for sure how to fix this.

i do plan on modding it but i need it running right first

If the car still has the stock pre-cat, it could be somewhat clogged. If I were in your shoes, I would just take this time to replace the exhaust:

Bonez downpipe & hi-flo cat. I ran that setup with a Greddy catback for many happy years.

Your exhaust must be backed up. Remove the Pre-cat and replace it with a downpipe ASAP. It may help your other problems also. The full exhaust is great, but install a boost gauge to keep an eye on over boosting.

The turbo would overheat if the coolant or oil wasn't flowing properly but that seems unlikely unless it is leaking all over the place or out the exhaust.

Ditch the pre-cat asap.
