getting sick of the driveline

ok, i have had driveline problems for a year now.
i initially thought it was the diffbushings and the engine mounts(they where damaged)
now, i have changed out the diff, the diff bushings, solid alu engine mounts,
have had the ppf seen over, and they didnt find any cracks,
but still, i have a maaaaaaassive driveline shunt, it feels like a kick in the back when i go on and off the throttle, is so violent that it allmost makes the car allittle unnstabel,
allso, when i woot it in secod gear, it feels like i have 4ws, the bakk end stears alround:S
WTF is wrong with my car, how do i remove this?
there isnt much left on this car that i havent allready replaces:S
what could it be? axels? the rear subframe? whaat?
i need to get this fixed now, its getting so bad that i dont enjoy driving this car anymore (and thats the entire point of it,isnt it)

I was going to say the diff but you stated that you replaced it, that's the only thing I can think of that would make it seem the rear wants to swing around. I would also like to know the cause, I kind of had the same problem but its fine now I come to believe.

in just dont understand what can make the driveline move like that,
i have allso massivemounted my gearbox(made my own gearbrace) that helped alittle, but its still horrible, it must be moving several inches (feels like it)
its like ist beeing hit with a sledgehammer

Maybe the pillowball joints? If you jack up the car and grab the rear tires can you move it and steer it? You might need to use some force to find the play

How many miles/kms on the car? For those of us in the U.S. our cars are at least 13 years old, and all suspension components should have been replace a long time ago. It might be time to do some renovating underneath.

how about the toelinks and the trailingarms, could they have anything to do with the driveline shunt?

Mine had a similar problem, rear would constantly come free or wiggle on accel, very unstable in corners and all kinds of shunts and clunks. Replaced pillows and other bushings and haven't had to deal with it again. I could steer my rear tires at least 1/4" in each direction with how bad they were.

Have you aligned the car? Have you had the alignment rechecked afterwards somewhere else?

What kind of tires do you have? When was the last time they were replaced? Does it have the same tread left to right?

Have you had the car checked at a body shop to ensure that the frame/unibody is straight?

What shocks and springs are you using? How many miles on the shocks?

Are the engine subframe and rear suspension subframes on tight and torqued to spec?

Whenever I hear of problems like this it is usually caused by one of the above problems. Stiffer bushings often amplify any problems with alignment and chassis.

I've changed everything from urethane motormounts, diff brace, trans brace, pillow *****, bushings, rear diff. Finally I realized it's the slack in the transmission...

I would start with the pillowballs first since you said the back is unstable and take it from there. 70k miles is plenty on those things...

Ray at Malloy Mazda will hook you up... 888-533-3400

If you have the delrin bushing kit then it came with the bushings that replace the pillowballs.... No need to buy new pillowballs.
