Fuel Temp sensor not needed?

with the 1600s kit im getting there's no spot for the fuel temp sensor

is this really worthless? I just like to keep the car as close to the stock setup as possible when modding it...if that makes sense you know what I mean

Most ECUs have a default setting if a sensor is offline. It shouldn't be a problem. I borrowed a fuel rail from Garfinkle and he had created a threaded hole for the sensor to mount. When I got my own rail I didn't notice any difference without the fuel sensor.

Cold fuel doesn't atomize as well as warm fuel, but then again you knew that you shouldn't step on the gas all the way when it's cold so that shouldn't play a role...

Any only atomized fuel combusts.... so cold fuel running down the intake port = wastefull... but not hazardous unless you boost 20 psi and the ecu is expecting well atomized fuel.

It only pulls out 2% fuel at fuel temps >60 degC!!!

Most simply set this correction to 1.00 in the PFC which negates any affect of not installing the fuel temp sensor.
