After looking closely at the parts fiche, the o-ring has a seperate part number so it is not part of the atomizer. I just need to know if it was indeed a soft rubber o-ring in it's original state.

No, I have those o-rings removed, tagged and bagged. And this is the secondary atomizer. The primary has an o-ring made to it, but the secondary atomizer has o-ring on it that can be removed which I have done. It was hard and brittle so that's why I asked if it was soft rubber in it's original state.

Probably the most stupid question on this whole forum, but, ...What should the FPR be adjusted to if you run the ordenary 550cc primary injectors and the ultimate fuel system from KGparts just upgrading to 1600cc secondaries?? OR is it allready adjust to the level it should be?? HMM...IM CONFUSED!

fuel line positions

I have had a few ask me about what fuel line does what on the hardlines that come from the rear to the front. Here is a pic that shows you what one is what, based on you looking into the engine bay from the front.

hope this helps.

^ per antihun (post #72)

"Hard line 1 - from tank to fuel rail
Hard line 2 - from FPR to tank
Hard line 3 - from charcoal canister to the UIM

The third line should only carry vapor so it doesn't need to be a braided line."

i think that's what you were asking.

Hey, i am in the process of upgrading the secondary fuel only, i got the same part from KGparts but only secondary upgrades of 1600, fuel rails, and fuel lines and fpr. well, i cant seem to fit the injectors in right. do you throw away the secondary diffusers? i test fitted without the diffusers and it seems it's too loose...the injectors themselves.

ok, read my seconds popst of this thread again, its explains it: https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...83&postcount=2

are you using the metal sleeves? u need to use those and make sure the o-ring gets past the sleeve like in the pictures I should in my 2nd post (linked above).

That will get you a good seal. I explain both the way I seal the primaries and secondaries in that second post liked above.

Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can clear something up for me.... are the Sleeves for the 1600 secondaries Bosch injectors the same width on both sides, i.e. do the Sleeves have to fit in a certain way or are both sides the same? The reason I ask is because someone told me that one side is flared more then other?

Thanks
Kash

Does it matter which wire the resistor goes on?
In Your picture it looks like third from the top, has the resistor on the opposite wire of the rest.

So basicly my question goes: Fit resistor to B/Y or LG/"x"

Thanks

Doesn't matter which wire the resistor goes on. Also doesn't matter what wire from the new inj clip goes to the old injector wires. Provided both are connected. Injectors are basicaly a coil of wire that receives current at both ends to create a magnetic field. The only difference is the direction the current flows though the wire coil, the magnetic field is the same, and resistance is the same regardless of which side a resistor is added. Hope that explains it.

Keep in mind I no longer use the resistors and have not used them for a while now. I use a proper injector driver:

FJO's injector driver is now smaller and cheaper, about $150 from Alamo:
