fuel pressure regulator

Can someone penpoint to me where is the fuel pressure regulator? Do I have to take the manifold out to see it? Because I'm trying to install a nos kit and don't know where it is?

It is on the firewall end of the secondary fuel rail.

You can get to it without taking off the UIM (Upper Intake Manifold), but it will be a PITA. To get a clean shot at it, like in my picture, you'll need to take off the UIM and ACV (Air Control Valve).

The shop manual says to change it every time, but I didn't, becuase it was fairly new and made of metal. If the gasket is made of paper, then replace it. Only the '93's have paper gaskets.

Hey Jonski is that photo take of the FPR an fd or fc? I looked at the picture and see that the whole engine is opposite. See where the fuel rail is and on top of it is a throttle, right? I thought the FPR is on the left side of the engine? I'm really confuse when I try to match the photo, it doesn't look right. Please show me more photo, so I can better compare.

thank you

It is an FD. Remove the upper intake manifold (UIM) and lean over the side of the driver's side fender to get that view (firewall on the right). The solenoid rack is removed in that picture.
