Front Turn lights.

Has anyone took the front turn signal lights apart? I was thinking of taking that orange thing out of them. I just want to know how hard will it be to seperate them?

Thanks

I've done it, just use a heat gun or hair drier to soften up the adhesive then use a screw driver to pry it apart. Then I used some silicon sealeant stuff to put it all back together.

what bulb did you put back in it? if you take the orange thing out and put an orange bulb in wont the reflection from the bulb make the lens look more orange than to begin with?

haha no, what i think he means is that he wants to completely remove the orange thing and leave the white lightbulb in there. going for a clear lens look

I've had it liek this since summer, no problems yet. Just have the clear bulb that was already in there.

I'm gonna stick some red ones in there and see what happens, I worst I'll probably get a fix it ticket.

I just finished taking that orange thing out. I took me like 10 min for both of them. IT's pretty easy only thing is i had to heat them up. It looks much better now. I had super white turn signals on my Fc and i never got pulled over before.
