flywheel question

welp here the question

i know a automatic flywheel, (or whatever u want to call it) is bolted to a counterweight behind it.

i read something about front counterweights.

what does a stock manual car have? any counterweights? a front one?

what about the rear counterweight on the automatics, behind the flexplate? does a stock manual have that, or does the stock manual flywheel just go right on the eccentric shaft?

Did you miss this the first time. There is no counterweight with a stock flywheel.

I'll write it again for the next time you ask:

There is no counterweight with a stock flywheel.

That's classic. Mean, but classic

Zion was right, it goes right on. There is a big nut that holds it in place. Make sure you have the big nut. The smaller ones won't fit. That's important. Put the flywheel on the shaft first. The shaft goes in the big hole in the middle of the flywheel. Don't put it in one of the small holes....that's bad. Then start the nut on the threads. Turn the nut clockwise (same direction as a clock hand moves, not a digital watch). Keep turning it until it's really tight. It's best to use some kind of tool to make it tight. Just hand tight won't be enough. Did you remember the counterweight? Oh that's right, there is no counterweight with a stock flywheel. Glad I reminded you. Anyway, a tight nut is good. Loose is bad.

Better ask for a second opinion about all this. I wouldn't want you to make a mistake.

Oh yeah, don't forget. There is no counterweight with a stock flywheel.

Lightweight flywheels for manuals will come with a counter weight. At least Racing Beat's does.

All engines, automatic or manual, do in fact have a counterweight behind the front cover.

At least I don't start stupid threads ALL THE TIME.
At least when someone answers a question for me, I thank them.
At least I give correct information to people.
At least I can spell.
At least I take the time to look things up instead of wasting peoples time with questions that are easily answered by searching.

What are you good for??

u are the biggest baby in the world,

wasnt a stupid thread, i heard about this situation, did a search, and found nothing, not much about counterweights. you make no sense!

i do thank people, in this thread alone, i thanked goracer, and zyon13b, and in the first post of this thread i thanked anyone who would reply. you make no sense?

i have not given any information, been asking dumb questions according to you?! what the heck. U MAKE NO SENSE!

ur bragging on ur spelling! woo whooo! son of a B! son of a B! we have a spelling B champ! do u think i care to much about how i spell when i come on here, and have a car problem? what a stuid comment. ur throwing out insults like a baby, which tells me, ur probably not to bright urself, fudgepacker, attacking something or someone u have no idea about.

i do search, did a search for manual flywheel counterweight, not much there, cause it dont have a separate counterweight, i know that now, didnt then, THATS WHY I POSTED THIS! quit making assumptions

ur just being a baby about all this, and i dont even know why, people like u ruin a good forum, so chill, im done with u.
