Fixing leak through intake tube

Just wanted to share something I resolved tonight. I was noticing oil blowing out the intake where the plastic intake pipe from the intercooler connects to the throttle body. After removing the pipe it was clear that the O-ring used to seal the two pieces was fine, however after applying a straight edge to the plastic intake pipe it was clear that it was not ok. The intake pipe had warped enough so that the O-ring could no longer seal. I then proceeded to sand the plastic intake pipe flange on a sanding table until it was once again straight. After applying some seal/O-ring grease to the seal and reinstalling the intake pipe the boost/vacuum/oil leak is fixed. I will have to look after the excessive turbo blowby another day.
